About the Author

Saif Ur Rahman Omair, author of The Twinlands Saga, is a Canadian fantasy writer of South Asian heritage. Born in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and now residing in Ontario, Canada, he brings together diverse cultural influences that shape his storytelling. With a background in engineering and project management, and a passion for teaching and public speaking, he combines analytical thinking with imagination to create immersive fantasy narratives.

The Twinlands Saga is not an entirely new series but a soft reboot of the author's original work, The Nucle Saga. The original trilogy was conceived and written during his teenage years, serving as the foundation for the world, characters, and themes he wished to share with readers. Although the series achieved its intended conclusion, the author felt that the story deserved to be retold with the benefit of greater life experience, stronger writing skills, and a more refined creative vision.

For Saif, the Twinlands Saga became an opportunity to preserve the heart of the original narrative while rebuilding its world, characters, and themes for a new generation of readers. Work on the reboot began in 2025, and after a year of intensive writing and redevelopment, the project was completed in 2026.​

With nearly two decades of storytelling, Saif's creative journey has evolved alongside his personal growth. The completion of Saga marked the end of a chapter that began in his youth, while the Twinlands Saga represents a new beginning; an opportunity to revisit the story that first inspired him and present it in a form that reflects the writer he has become today.
